Background as Pharmacist has undertaken both Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Pharmacy- Pharmacoepidemiology & Pharmacovigilance at University of Nairobi. Currently works in Kenyatta National Hospital serving as the Head of Pharmacovigilance, Poison & drug Information. Besides her passion in providing safe and efficacious medicines and implementing patient safety systems, she is an advocate for continuous learning and professional development.

Dorothy has an unwavering passion for empowering healthcare professionals through leadership development and is particularly keen on mentoring young health care professionals. She is an active member of various professional societies- Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya, International Society of Pharmacovigilance and Hospital Pharmacists Association of Kenya.
