Dr Ronald Kiguba

Dr Ronald Kiguba is a Pharmacist, Clinical Epidemiologist and Biostatistician. He holds a PhD in Pharmacoepidemiology and is a member of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance. Dr Kiguba is passionate about initiatives that apply pharmacovigilance and pharmacoepidemiological methods to find solutions to problems of medication use. He cherishes making contributions to decisions that stimulate the implementation of high-quality medication safety research; and the successful translation of innovative and proven solutions to promote safer medication use by patients in Africa and beyond.

He has participated in numerous local and international initiatives to promote the practice of pharmacovigilance. Dr Kiguba has vast experience in designing and implementing clinical and epidemiological studies. As a member of several Drug Safety and Monitoring Boards of Randomized Controlled Trials, he has acquired, at the highest level internationally, immense experience in the implementation of clinical trials and observational studies.
