Claudia Janice Latabu is a pharmacist who has been working in the field of pharmacovigilance for the last four years.  She contributed to developing the Uganda Ministry of Health’s active drug safety-monitoring plan for health workers for pharmacovigilance, is a national trainer of trainers, and a mentor in pharmacovigilance and health system strengthening.

She has coordinated three pharmacovigilance evaluations for drugs introduced in the Uganda national program including dolutegravir and rifapentine-isoniazid These projects aimed to improve treatment outcomes through the identification, management, and reporting of adverse drug reactions.
