Dr. Coyie Mathenge is the current Group Founder & CEO of PVCC Group UK Limited and its other subsidiaries including PVCC Consulting KE Limited. She is a Kenya specialist Pharmacist with a Masters in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology from the European Program of Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology via Université Bordeaux II Segalen, France. Mathenge has close to over 16 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance and a decade in Regulatory affairs and Business leadership within the Pharma industry having worked directly and indirectly in various capacities within the lifesciences industries, both globally and locally.

To-date, Mathenge has supported over 50 organizations in establishing their product safety systems in-line with the local regulatory requirements, ranging from global Lifesciences companies, local Pharma organizations, International Academia and during the COVID period, extended her support to the banking and Insurance sectors in establishing patient safety protocols and business continuity measures.

Additionally, Mathenge has collaborated both directly and via developing partners in strengthening the local Regulatory Authorities in remodeling their current Good Pharmacovigilance Practices. The same collaborative efforts have also been extended by Mathenge to several Local Academia in helping shape their curriculum around drug safety and patient safety affairs.
