Deirdre is a Senior Program Officer and Pharmacovigilance Lead at the Gates Foundation. Her focus is to support the build-out of a harmonized, continental, pharmacovigilance framework for AMA to enable standardized adverse event data collection, storage, analysis, and communication for safety profiling of priority health products in Africa. With over 20 years of PV experience across regulatory, industry, and non-profit sectors in the EU, US, and Latin America, she brings a unique perspective to safety, compliance, and global health. She is a Fellow of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance (ISoP).
