Dr. Priscilla Nyambayo, a seasoned clinical pharmacologist and pharmacoepidemiologist consultant whose career reflects dedication to patient safety, regulatory excellence, and innovation.

With more than 22 years of experience, Dr. Nyambayo has played a key role in strengthening MCAZ and advancing regulatory systems in Africa. Under her leadership, MCAZ achieved:

• WHO Maturity Level 3 for Clinical Trials Oversight (2021)
• WHO Maturity Level 3 for Vigilance (2023)
• Overall WHO Maturity Level 3 across all regulatory functions (2024)

She has also coordinated numerous regional training programs under the MCAZ Centre of Regulatory Excellence (RCORE) and serves as a consultant in good clinical practice (GCP), good vigilance practice (GVP), and medicines and vaccines safety.
