Myriam Salem
Myriam Salem is currently the national supervisor of the Clinical Trials Compliance Programme at Health Canada. Myriam has previously coordinated the Good Pharmacovigilance Practices Inspection Program at Health Canada, worked as a pharmacovigilance scientific manager and a senior scientific evaluator for several years. Prior to joining Health Canada, Myriam held various positions in the pharmaceutical industry and in academia.
Myriam also volunteers with the Canadian Medication Appropriateness and Deprescribing Network to promote the safe use of medication. She is a biochemist by training, holds a master’s degree in pharmacology from Université de Montréal and a Master’s degree in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology from a consortium of European universities (Eu2P).
