Currently Regulatory Officer at the Medicines Control Agency (MCA), The Gambia, in the Directorate of Clinical Trials and Pharmacovigilance — overseeing clinical trial authorization, adverse event monitoring, pharmacovigilance, and drug safety to protect public health.

As Nursing Officer (RN, BSN) at Kanifing General Hospital, I worked in the Medical-Surgical Ward, Peadiatric Ward and Accident and Emergency Department and coordinated Youth Friendly Services. Graduated with Distinction and Best Research Project award from The Gambia College School of Nursing and Midwifery, where I served as Secretary General / Chairman of the Nursing & Midwifery Students Association.

Early career: Head of Laboratory at Dongoro Ba Health Centre (2013); contributed to MRC Genomic Project on Malaria (1 year 9 months).

Volunteered with MHPSAP (Mental Health & Substance Abuse Prevention, Ministry of Health), Team Rhino Foundation Africa (Project Coordinator), and Village Girl Initiative. Certified in Basic Life Support (Adult/Paediatric/Neonatal) and FGM/C for Health Professionals.
