Albert Figueras, medical doctor and clinical pharmacologist. Independent Consultant on pharmacovigilance and antimicrobial use and stewardship. He has supported the rational and safe use of medicines in more than 50 countries across Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Europe through projects funded by the WHO, Africa CDC, the World Bank, and the Asian Development Bank. Former Professor of Pharmacology (Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain and Eu2P). He is Co-chair of the Scientific Board of CEPSA and a member of the pharmacovigilance advisory board of ANVISA (Brazil).
