Augustinus Nsamba Martin

Augustinus Nsamba Martin is a dedicated Senior Analyst Programmer with over nine years of experience in information technology, specializing in health information systems strengthening in Namibia. Augustinus currently serves in the Therapeutic Information and Pharmacovigilance Centre (TIPC) under the Namibia Medicines Regulatory Council (NMRC), where he supports the development and management of systems that enhance medicine safety surveillance and public health reporting.

Prior to this role, Augustinus worked as a Technical IT Specialist with I-TECH Namibia, providing technical support and infrastructure solutions for national health information systems. He also served as a System Analyst with Open Development under the EpiC Project, where he contributed to strengthening the iHRIS platform to improve health workforce information management in Namibia.

He began his career as an IT Specialist with Chemonics International, where he played an instrumental role in implementing pharmaceutical information systems such as the Electronic Dispensing Tool (EDT), Facility Electronic Stock Cards (FESC), and the Pharmaceutical Management Information System (PMIS Dashboard), while also supporting platforms such as SYSPRO and eTB-Manager.

With strong expertise in systems analysis, digital health solutions, and IT support, Augustinus is passionate about leveraging technology to strengthen healthcare systems and improve service delivery. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys playing soccer and spending quality time with his family.
