Charles Mandisodza
Charles Mandisodza is an accomplished pharmaceutical professional currently serving as the Group Regulatory Affairs Manager for Cospharm group of companies. He also serves as the Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV) for Cospharm Pharmaceuticals, a Zimbabwean-based and owned, fast growing pharmaceutical manufacturing company, that is part of the Cospharm group of companies whose physical presence through wholesale distribution and retail pharmacies is in Botswana, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Namibia.
With a career spanning over a decade in both public and private sectors, Charles brings a wealth of expertise in medicines regulation, dossier evaluation, and compliance across the SADC region. He previously worked as a Regulatory Officer with Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe for 5 years.
In his current capacity, he oversees the comprehensive lifecycle of product registration, from initial dossier compilation for allopathic and complementary medicines to managing post-registration amendments and variations. He also serves as the Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV), where he is instrumental in establishing and maintaining robust safety monitoring systems for Cospharm.
Charles holds a BSc (Hons) in Regulatory Pharmacology from the University of Pretoria and is currently advancing his expertise through an MSc in Regulatory Affairs with the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. He is a dedicated professional committed to evolving proactive drug safety cultures and ensuring regional pharmaceutical compliance.
