Dr. Macarius Donneyong has built his career around one mission: using real‑world data and advanced analytics to make medications safer and more effective for the patients who rely on them. Trained as an epidemiologist and now an Associate Professor at The Ohio State University, he works at the intersection of public health, pharmacy, and AI—translating massive electronic health record and claims datasets into insights that improve care.

His work has attracted nearly $12 million in research funding and earned him leadership roles, including Chair of the NIH AIMR Study Section. Dr. Donneyong is also known for his commitment to developing the next generation of scientists, mentoring dozens of students and trainees who now lead research and clinical programs around the world.
