Nicolas Praet is a pharmacoepidemiologist and pharmacovigilance researcher within the Pharmaceutical Public Health Unit at the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp, Belgium. With over 20 years of experience in both private and public sectors, he has led and contributed to research on vaccines and infectious diseases across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

His work spans epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, and pharmacovigilance in diverse international settings. Nicolas currently serves as Centre Manager of the Centre of Excellence for Pharmacovigilance in Southern Africa (CEPSA).
